Wen Qing resurfaced eight months ago with enough proof to bury what remained of the Wen family. Wen Ruohan and his remaining son were arrested a month later. The trial is in a few months, but everyone knows they will not get free this time. Once the search warrants were issued, the evidence was more than damning, and just keeps growing. A pardon was issued for you when proof that you were framed came to light, but no one knew how to find you.”

But I can’t prove it from here, and I can’t prove it from prison, and they’re going to kill me if you arrest me. Even if by some miracle I don’t get the death sentence, then I’ll mysteriously die in prison.”

Wei Wuxian woke wrapped up in clouds. Or at least, that was what it felt like in the first few bleary minutes of consciousness. Once he was awake enough to know he wasn’t lying in clouds he had a few minutes to think he must be dead, until that line of thinking was interrupted by the realization that he definitely hadn’t earned this sort of comfort in the afterlife. It wasn’t until he heard a door softly open that he remembered anything.
Turning his head, he locked eyes with Lan Wangji, who was standing in the doorway with his hand still on the knob and staring at him with slightly wide eyes. “Last thing I remember was sitting in the kitchen,” he said. “Did you carry me here, Lan Zhan?”Series

Wei Wuxian sighed, trying to keep himself together. “Lan Wangji’s house. Why else would I be calling from his phone?”
“I don’t know, because you stole it?” Jiang Cheng spat, and that sounded much more normal, far more familiar, and Wei Wuxian laughed in relief. “Glue your ass to a seat and keep it there. And you better have called a-jie already! If you leave her out or hurt her in any way, I’ll break your legs!”
“She’s already on her way, a-Cheng,” Wei Wuxian told him.Or, the Yunmeng siblings are all in the same room together after thirteen years, and many words are said.
