Summary
„I think I‘m in love with Jaemin“, Jeno blurts out one day when they’re sitting at their usual table in the coffee shop. Jaemin isn‘t with them, he’s in the library for a „study date“ (Jeno doesn’t think that his attempts at studying will be very effective).
Chenle chokes on his chai latte, Donghyuk drops his fork on the floor and Renjun dramatically slaps his book shut.
Alternatively: Jeno has seen his best friend Jaemin fall in love countless of times and yet Jeno thinks that none of them is good enough for him.

„What?“, he asks because Renjun can basically see Donghyuck‘s fucking brain working and that’s really red flag number three, something is going on in that sick mind of Donghyuck‘s and Renjun isn’t sure if he wants to know what and- wait a second. „No!“, Renjun calls out and he’s honestly tempted to throw his sketchbook at his friend. „Don’t even consider it“.
„I haven’t even said anything yet“, Donghyuck lifts his hands in a defensive gesture but there is this mischievous glint behind his eyes that tells Renjun that an idea has formed inside of Donghyuck‘s head and that he’s not going to let this one go so easily.
Alternatively: Donghyuck is horny and Renjun is curious.

„I don’t get it“, Jisung shovels a ridiculously big spoon full of stew in his mouth, „What’s so exciting about exploring your sexuality?“
Chenle shrugs in response. He could tell Jisung about his whole coming out story but it’s still too early for these kinds of conversations. Maybe later, he thinks, when they‘re both on the kitchen floor. „I guess it’s just nice to be sure of what you like and what you don’t. Or who“.
„I never explored my sexuality and I know for sure that I‘m straight“.
Chenle huffs. They’re going to see about that. For a straight guy, Jisung has suspicious amount of queer friends. „How can you be so sure? Have you ever kissed a boy?“
Jisung hesitantly shakes his head.
„Then how do you know you’re straight?“
„Because-“, Jisung makes a vague gesture. „I’m just not gay. Or bi. Or whatever- not that anything is wrong with you guys. It’s just not for me, for sure. Like, I can admit that guys are attractive but I‘m sure that I could never- yeah“.
Chenle snorts again. That’s a lot of „sure“s for someone who never even tried out his options.Series
