"What, you saw the sports festival and thought I had flexible morals or some shit? I'm not about to join up with some stupid villain if that's what you're thinking." Katsuki has had enough of people calling him a villain for one day.
"I think you know just as well as I do how much the hero system needs to be reformed," Stain says, eyes glinting behind his mask. "And don't call me a villain. I'm a reformer. A redeemer of society, if you will. I believe you can be a real hero, if you want.”
Oh, Katsuki wants all right. Just not from this murderous asshole.
OR: Stain tries to recruit Katsuki right after the sports festival. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

"Bitch, you again? I thought you died," Katsuki says grumpily, ready to blast the grimy man to high heavens.
"I did, legally. But then I lived," Stain explains with a shrug. "So, Bakugou Katsuki, how was your internship?"
"Fuck off, you're not my dad." A pause. "On a completely unrelated note, would you be willing to murder Best Jeanist? Hypothetically, of course."
OR: Katsuki still won't join Stain's stupid murder parade, but while he's here he might as well use him for venting purposes.

Katsuki doesn’t even know why he’s looking for Stain, anyway. It’s been a pretty great day overall without seeing the ex hero killer. Still...
"Are you around, bitch?" he calls, swinging his bag beside him on the bench. "I have shit for you, so come and get it. A real responsible mentor wouldn't leave a first year waiting in the park.”
Stain shows up a minute later, wearing the same clothes as last time and looking perturbed.
"Bakugou Katsuki," he says, per usual. "I was wondering who could be yelling this late at night. Your use of curse words, as always, is excessive." He pauses. "You said you have shit for me?"

"I take full responsibility for Bakugou Katsuki's violent behavior," he says, and Chizome almost drops his sandwich. Katsuki? What happened with him? I should check on him tonight. Leave a letter in his mailbox telling him to meet up or something. He would hate for all of his hard work with Katsuki, helping him sort his ideals and become a truer hero, to be fucked up by UA and their golden standard.
The man goes on to talk about Katsuki's strength, and Chizome relaxes a little. So they aren't trying to vilify him. At least, his teacher isn't.
Now that he thinks about it, isn't Katsuki supposed to be on some kind of field trip?
OR: Bakugou is kidnapped, and Chizome has a difficult decision to make.
