Summary
Billy has not seen Steve in years, and he immidietly wants.

“Come on pretty boy have a seat.” Billy tugs Steve’s wrist in his direction as he slides further into the booth leaving room for Steve.
“What do you want? I really need this job, please don’t get me fired.” Steve blurts out as he slides into the booth, looking skittish like he is afraid Billy is going to hurt him, understandable Billy did hurt him once, he can see the little scar in his hairline. Billy has no intention of hurting him again though.
“Just want to catch up pretty boy.” Billy lets go of his wrist, decides he might be sending the wrong message, holding him in place as he was. He is not trying to force Steve into anything. He might want Steve but not like that.

Billy gets Steve for the weekend.

“You’re sure I don’t need anything?” Steve asks again, Billy hooking his thumb over the edge of Steve’s lip, pad of his thumb against his teeth when Steve tries to suck it in again, it is already red and swollen.
“Gonna take care of yah, I don’t do things half way.” Billy lets his tone drop arm curling around Steve’s neck and leading him toward the door. “Car, now.” Billy’s voice is all husky low command that never fails to get a squirm and pink cheeks out of Steve.

Billy finally gets Steve to move in with him.

“No, we aren’t going to my condo, we’re going home.” Billy says with a wide grin, he started working on this place as soon as he came across Steve at the restaurant.
“What are you talking about Billy?” Steve asks craning his head back and wincing at the pull as he looks up at Billy, Billy’s grin falters a little at the reminder of why he is finally taking Steve home.

Steve walks in on Billy while he is working.

"Billy do you…," Steve trails off as he lifts his head up, eyes flying over the room taking in the situation, eyes going impossibly wide.
Billy feels panic grip him, he has not told Steve what he does, they have not talked about it at all. What if this is the end, what if Steve wants nothing to do with him after seeing what Billy does for a living, a small portion but still. What if he wants to leave? Billy has cold dread pooling in his belly.
“Oh, you're working, this can wait. I’ll come back later.” Steve says turning on his heel and exiting quickly as Maxwell snorts and closes the door behind him.
