Summary
“Kirishima Eijirou,” Fat says lowly, and the boy can barely hold back a flinch, his shoulders hunkering up toward his ears. He’s not used to that tone being directed at him - being directed at anyone, really - and the way Fat’s muscles bulge out of his faded grey sweatshirt only makes it worse. Kirishima has never really angered his mentor, and even in the few times that Fat lost his patience with him, it’s never been like this.
And from a couple of embarrassing experiences with his homeroom teacher, Kirishima is pretty sure he knows how this’ll end.
Or: Kirishima has always wanted to be stronger, faster, more manly, and Fat Gum has always supported him in his training.
But when the boy nearly dies because of a deliberate oversight, the line needs to be drawn.
