Summary
The moment the heavy door was wrenched open a bucket of ice water was thrown inside – drenching him and pulling a gasp from his chest. He tried to scramble away but Miroslav simply grabbed him by the hair and his upper arm and dragged him from the cell. Once outside, in the narrow hallway, two other soldiers clamped the shackles on his wrists and he was mostly dragged onward towards the room that stank of his blood.
