Grantaire wakes up in the afterlife and finds himself alone but something is missing and luckily there is a kind and helpful friend nearby to help him find it....
For my friend Mariette who wanted an afterlife AU set in Canon era about our Les Amis who we love so much.
Tried to be as true to Canon as poss but obviously artistic license lends me a hand here, given that this story starts after the characters have died. I hope you don't cry as much reading it as I did writing it!
Quite heavy emotional stuff, so please be aware if you're feeling fragile!
