Summary
Somehow, the first thing that comes to Steve’s mind is that one time when Thor accidentally put metal in the paper shredder.
The noise that this particular action resulted in is very specific, and something that will be stuck in his head forever. It makes his teeth hurt, the desperate squeaking of bending metal, bending and scraping against more metal. It still rings in his ears, weeks later, and a pounding headache is waiting for Steve just from thinking about it.
He cringes, not entirely sure why this of all things bounces around in his brain like an old Windows Screensaver, but it does. Where did this even come from? Steve decides to blame Tony - or Natasha. Both seem accurate enough.

The Avengers are a messy family, and as much as they want to strangle each other sometimes, they love each other even more. They won't have it any other way.

Summary
Phil’s first clue that something must be incredibly wrong is the fact that Thor of all people is calling him.
“My friend, I believe we are in trouble.”
“What happened, is everyone okay?” Phil already makes his way to the door, prepared for the worst. Thor doesn’t sound too distressed, but that doesn’t have to mean anything - he is very much capable of remaining calm when he needs to.
“No one has been harmed, but the others are, well. They are currently children.”
Phil stops in his tracks, blinking. That’s a new one.
“They are - what. How?”
(...)In which Phil and Thor find themselves having to parent 5 Avengers, who have been magically tunred into children and teenagers of various ages. The situation is just as chaotic as it sounds, especially since neither of the kids seems to trust any of the adults around them.

Summary
Funnily enough, life with 5 kids around instead of fully grown Avengers kind of adjusts itself over time. They get into a rhythm, learn how to approach things and what to avoid. It is very much a work in progress, but still a lot better than anyone would have thought before. And as it turns out very quickly, Thor would let them get away with murder while Phil, more often than not, is the designated holder of the single shared braincell.
Believe it or not, they do have a system. Mostly - there are hiccups still.-

Summary
It’s one of those weeks again - Steve is sick. He is shaking from the cold and sweating at the same time, feverish and freezing all at once. As much as he is used to it, he’s miserable and much more clingy than usual.
The others are there for him to bring food, tea and medicine, but most of all, to keep him company. They happily stay to provide distractions, cuddles and new mugs of tea. The downside of all of this is that sooner or later, someone catches whatever cold or stomach bug Steve managed to get at the time.Which leads to the issue at hand, being that Clint Barton ignores any signs of sickness in himself that isn’t a body part about to fall off.
It gets worse and worse though, and it brings something to light that he hoped would have stayed hidden. Will he accept help?-

“It’s kind of weird.” Clint says after a while, and he doesn’t have to specify what he means.
“I remember bits and pieces of what happened, some things more clearly than others. Like I was living another life, which I guess is kinda true.” he chuckles. “I still feel like any of the others is a kid that needs protection when I turn around.”
“If it makes you feel any better, so do I.”
“Do you have the urge to snap at grown ass adults for using kitchen utensils that are hot or sharp?”
“Weirdly enough, yes. It is truly concerning.”
The bark of laughter from Clint tickles near his neck, but it is warm and familiar as well.
“You’re okay though? It’s alright if you don’t want to talk about it, but. Just checking in.”-
In which the Avengers are back to being adults and some of them finally have to face certain romantic feelings...
