lower case intended because I'm lazy and I wrote this out of stress + feeling down + felt like writing a kyuric short series over this prompt. and because I love kyuric just as much as I love jukyu and now moonjae! :D
changmin: I wish I knew what other people really thought of me, don't you?
eric: I guess so
eric: (Internally) I love you, I love you, I'm in love with you so much it's killing mewith reveal era almost ending, eric can't stop thinking about how changmin's lips would feel like against his own every time their part in the choreography starts, and that he's fallen for him. one chilly night, he can't sleep and finds changmin sleeping on the couch physically tired from who knows what, only to learn he's been staying late over at the entertainment to practice his dancing more and to improve. when eric also learns that changmin doesn't think he's good enough in front of people's view, eric is determined to show him that he is loved and appreciated. maybe . . . he might have confessed his feelings, regretting it next because he's afraid with what they had before might tear their bond apart.

after sunwoo finds out eric is in love with changmin, he doesn't deny this neither discourages. but when eric realizes something is off about changmin, he rushes to save him before it's too late, although he's sure the dancer wouldn't do such a thing.

eric looks at him, trying to gauge the expression written on his face, worried that he perhaps went too far, "are you okay?" stupid. stupid. stupid. what kind of question is that?
changmin, flustered, looks around the living room, glances behind him, sighs, then lightly hits eric on his chest.
"someone could have heard me and we got have got caught!" changmin whisper shouts. a silly smile carves his lips, watching eric realizing, silently laughing after.
"we won't get caught unless you want to."

"no—I did like it. I like you—okay?" embarrassed kevin looks up, cheeks fuming. no, seriously, why did he say that?
he goes back to hiding his face in the crook of hyunjae's neck, and it makes hyunjae laugh.
out of all things, he said "you're so mean" suggesting either a. he didn't like the kiss b. he wants more and okay, yeah, maybe he does c. he's embarrassed.
maybe he is because this time this small innocent affection was different than the usual quick teasing one.
"I like you too, kevin," hyunjae's words echo in his ears.

"I didn't cry. It's just hot, that's all," changmin's eyes flicker down, finding the floor beneath them serving as a good distraction.
and changmin realizes how his lies about his true feelings have become immune to eric as he snakes a hand underneath his legs, one at his back for support, lifting him up in his arms.
placing him on the kitchen island, taking his hand, raising it to his mouth, pressing a gentle kiss on the skin there while making eye contact with him. changmin, who refuses to accept the small gesture of affection pushes eric playfully, unable to stop the smile from blooming on his lips.
"are you really acting out a script from one of those dramas, or those disney films, cinderella, because it's not working, prince eric," the dancer emphasizes, beaming. this is what the silver-haired boy wanted to see, this is all he's been wishing for, the raven's happiness.
seeing him smile brings a wave of relief over him, in all honesty, it is to die for.
