“What are you doing here?” All Might asked, giving the man at his desk a stern look. “Are you homeless or something?”
He looked weary. His costume was grimy, in some places it was torn, and somebody had managed to land a scratch on his arm.
“You hired me,” Nighteye reminded him.
“To show you I don’t need an assistant.” All Might scratched his head. “Heck, I’m not even paying you. And it’s close to midnight.”
“I’m taking my work seriously,” Nighteye responded.
“You’re incorrigible,” All Might said, “go home.”All Might doesn't take sidekicks. Too much responsibility for a relatively small gain. Unfortunately, Sir Nighteye is very persistent.
Still, All Might plans on remaining resolute. He doesn't take sidekicks. And he most definitely doesn't fall in love with them.Series

Despite initially being reluctant of taking a sidekick, All Might has to admit - Sir Nighteye is perfect.
As for the more private part of the relationship? That's perfect, too.If only it could stay that way forever.

There was something familiar about the patient. Something painfully familiar. He was supporting himself on the windowsill, knuckles turned white with the effort. Only one hand, one arm. His left sleeve was empty and pinned up.
“Patients shouldn’t be standing if they are in such bad condition,” Toshinori remarked. “You can look outside fine from your bed.”
The figure turned and all other words Toshinori might have had got stuck in his throat.“If you need to take a seat,” Sir Nighteye said, “a chair is next to the door.”
Mirai lives. Toshinori is relieved to the point of bawling a week straight. Yet their relationship has been severely suffering and trouble does not halt for them.
While the two damaged heroes struggle to rebuild what they never hoped could be salvaged, old enemies reappear...Series
