Summary
“Is it just me, or have you been eyeing the elf from the mall entrance?” Alec smirked, glancing between the girl and Isabelle a few times with raised eyebrows. “You know I’m not one to judge but… really? She’s an elf, Isabelle.”
“I highly doubt that those ears are real, Alexander,” Izzy rolled her eyes. “And I haven’t been eyeing anyone. I just find it curious that we’ve already crossed paths with her three times. We’ve only been here for a little over an hour, and this mall is very big.”
Or: Isabelle might have a thing for the Christmas elf at the mall (just maybe).

Summary
“Oh god, never say that again,” Lydia mock-gagged. “And don’t mention kissing me when during half-time, you’re going to jinx us and then we’re going to have to-”
“And here’s our next lucky couple!” The announcement caught Lydia’s attention before she could finish her sentence and she felt herself pale dramatically as her eyes landed on the kiss-cam, perfectly zoomed onto Alec and her. “What do you say, love birds, fancy a kiss underneath the mistletoe?”
Or: A tale of bad luck, mistletoe, and Catarina as a knight in shining armour.

Summary
“Faeries get a little bit of a boost in their own realm,” Helen explained with shrug. “I may only be half-Seelie, but it’s enough for the cold not to affect me. I have to say it’s quite nice; being able to enjoy all the snow without having to deal with frostbite.”
“God, you literally have sunshine in your veins,” Aline whispered, caught between amazement and jealousy. “I bet if it started snowing right now, the snowflakes would melt right off you.”
“You’re ridiculous,” Helen snorted.
Or: Winters in the Seelie realm are as beautiful as they are cold, but Aline can always count on her own sunshine to make her melt.

Helen laughed. “Have you ever heard of Faerie Lights? They're actually carefully crafted by various seelies and unseelies during the year, using what little natural magic and talent we have to create garlands made up of strands of moonlight and rays of sunshine. It’s actually one of the only things I can do as a half-faerie.”
“Must be because of how bright you are,” Lydia blurted out before she could think over her words. “I mean, it just- If you’d asked me what piece of nature you held within your heart, I would have guessed Light without a second thought. Oh my god, I’m just going to shut up and let you continue your story now.”
Or: Lydia has never seen anything quite as beautiful as faerie lights (or as the faerie who made them).

Summary
“You’re absolutely ridiculous,” Alec sighed. “That girl even lets you make those disgusting holiday drinks you love so much, and I assure you it’s not because she likes them.”
“Hey! There’s nothing wrong with my drinks!” Aline threw a dishtowel at her friend. “And I guarantee you that she likes them, since she always asks for more. You can even ask her when she stops by today, if it’ll make you happy.”
“Oh, it would make me very happy,” Alec grinned. “I can’t wait to see where that conversation leads us.”
Or: Aline loves making coffee during the winter season; Maia loves buying coffee from her.
