Summary
“I’m Seokjin,” the man says, and when Jungkook fails to respond, Seokjin chuckles softly. “Nice to meet you. Thanks for letting me crash here.”
“Thank you,” Jungkook says stupidly, then has to physically shake his head to get his wits about him. “I mean, you’re welcome.”
Seokjin looks around and suddenly Jungkook is horribly embarrassed about the toys, about his stupid cartoon sheets, but then Seokjin says, “Dual Blade huh? Cool.”
This is it, this is love at first sight.
Seokjin frowns. “Bed’s… a little small.”

Summary
“You didn’t change? Aren’t you cold?” Seokjin asks, noticing Jungkook’s in the same clothes as before, wet patches at the knees of his jeans.
“Thought I’d shower first,” Jungkook answers with a shrug, sipping his cocoa and wincing when he finds it’s still too hot.
“Could now, if you want. I can keep myself entertained,” Seokjin offers, but Jungkook just hums noncommittally in response. “Or- I mean, this could be, like, a myth but-” Seokjin swallows the lump in his throat, tries to keep his momentum going, “I’ve heard sharing body heat is an excellent way to warm up.”
“Sounds like a pick-up line,” Jungkook smirks and he quickly digs his phone out of his back pocket. “I’m looking it up.” Jungkook types and waits, then scrolls. “Hyung that's for hypothermia, and it says you have to be naked for it to work. Anyway I don’t think that’s the problem right now.”
“Oh,” Seokjin tries to play off the rejection, “yeah I guess not."

Summary
“Who… is that?” Jungkook asks, staring.
Hoseok follows his gaze, eyes going wide. “That? Are you kidding me? That’s Kim Seokjin!”
“Who?”
“The Ice Prince?” Hoseok tries again.
Jungkook shakes his head in frustration. “What are you talking about?”
“I can’t believe you don’t know who he is - he’s a legend on campus.”

Summary
Somewhere between their food getting dropped off last night and this morning snow has accumulated so intensely that the cars parked in the lot below are completely covered, their antennae sprouting out from the white powder.
“I’m going to need snowshoes to get to my dorm,” Jungkook murmurs, dazed, the blinding reflection of the sun on the frozen expanse outside hurting Seokjin’s eyes.
“What? You can’t- there’s no way you can go out in this,” Seokjin tells him.
“But I need to get home, my parents are expecting me.”
“JK, this isn’t something you can drive in, it’d be too dangerous. Just call them and tell them you’ll be there in a few days, once it melts a little and the roads are safer,” Seokjin insists.
“Still, my dorm-”
“Stay here,” Seokjin offers, maybe too quickly, and he clears his throat. “If you want.”

Summary
This last year with Jungkook has been the best year of Seokjin’s life and he knows how lucky he is and thinks about it every day. Maybe it’s stupid to still feel vulnerable about what happened to him freshman year, maybe refusing to date anyone and closing himself off completely was an overreaction to being used and gossiped about. He thinks so sometimes, that he was too fragile, too weak to handle something that shouldn’t have been that big of a deal.
Even though he’s completely comfortable with Jungkook and knows - no matter what - he would never do anything like that he still hesitates sometimes. If they broke up even, Jungkook would never spread nasty rumors because that’s not who he is, Seokjin knows this. But all the logic in the world doesn’t seem to make it easier for him to leave himself unguarded. There’s something about this though, about being a guest in Jungkook’s childhood home, being curled up together, and he gathers all of his courage.

Summary
When Jungkook wakes up his first thought is the ring box - it’s always the ring box. If he carried it around it might actually burn a hole in his pocket. He opens the drawer and shifts his socks around, pulling the velvet container out. He pops it open to look at the shining silver band inside, the small snowflake pattern etched onto it.
Hearing Seokjin’s footsteps approaching he panics and shoves it back in the drawer, shutting it harder than he needs to and knocking the alarm clock over.
Seokjin narrows his eyes. “What are you doing?”
“Just- bumped the dresser. Clumsy,” Jungkook fibs, quickly ushering Seokjin out of the room to allay his suspicions.
