Summary
This last year with Jungkook has been the best year of Seokjin’s life and he knows how lucky he is and thinks about it every day. Maybe it’s stupid to still feel vulnerable about what happened to him freshman year, maybe refusing to date anyone and closing himself off completely was an overreaction to being used and gossiped about. He thinks so sometimes, that he was too fragile, too weak to handle something that shouldn’t have been that big of a deal.
Even though he’s completely comfortable with Jungkook and knows - no matter what - he would never do anything like that he still hesitates sometimes. If they broke up even, Jungkook would never spread nasty rumors because that’s not who he is, Seokjin knows this. But all the logic in the world doesn’t seem to make it easier for him to leave himself unguarded. There’s something about this though, about being a guest in Jungkook’s childhood home, being curled up together, and he gathers all of his courage.
