Summary
Dean really hadn't had much time to process, well, everything. And in his defense, it was a lot. God was gone, Jack was in heaven, and Cas… Dean’s head had been reeling non-stop since the Empty ripped him away. Everything Cas had ever done or said to him, all of it had a new meaning. Little moments that should’ve meant nothing now meant everything. Cas was gone, swallowed up by a void of darkness right before his eyes. And Dean would never see him again. So it didn’t matter. None of it mattered. Not anymore.

Summary
Humanity. For the longest time, protecting humanity was the only thing that mattered. Angels were supposed to watch and protect; they were never meant to get close to humans—to feel human emotions. In doing so, they would compromise themselves. Those emotions were dangerous—deadly, even. And becoming human? That was considered a fate worse than death. But Cas didn’t see it that way.
Or; the sequel to Sobering Reminders, in which Cas tries to understand the emotions he feels.

Summary
Sam was right—sex with feelings was really something else. Dean always thought he was just criticizing his terrible dating habits (or lack thereof), but maybe he was really onto something.
(It's really just Dean and Cas being happily in love)
