Husbands Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji receive an invitation to the re-opening of popular BDSM dungeon 'The Realm', which happens to be owned by Lan Xichen and Nie Mingjue. Lan Wangji wants to support his brother - someone who is very open about his interest in fetish - so together they agree to enter a world which is unfamiliar, thrilling, and scary to them. It's not their thing, though, right? They've played around in the bedroom, sure, but BDSM? That was a whole other thing.
The longer they spend inside the club, the more they begin to realise things about themselves.
