Gideon would catch half a breath of her truly bizarre perfume-- it smelled, somehow, like the stationary aisle in a morgue-- and lose her entire mind. "Want to have dinner with me?"
Foundry worker Gideon Nav finally gets notoriously prickly quality engineer Harrowhark Nonagesimus to go on a date with her. After she walks her home, she pulls an ill-advised but well-practiced move, leaving her in an open blazer with no shirt underneath. She's honestly not sure what she was hoping to accomplish with that. What she gets is so much better, anyway.
