His breath hitched in his throat. “Bokuto… san.”

Summary
The light ahead of him turned red, and he eased the car to a stop right in front of the crosswalk. He double-checked that his doors were locked, and yeah, they were. He breathed a small sigh of relief at the uninteresting street, then leaned back in his seat to wait for the light to flash green. He raised a hand to his head, massaging his forehead to concentrate on driving. But, with the impending image of Akaashi being hurt again pressing through his mind, it was rather difficult.
There was blood, screaming, and so much pain flowing through his head, seemingly on repeat.
But for some reason, it seemed all too real.
