Summary
Deep within the Scorch, inside a pristine facility, Chuck sits on his bed, staring at the wall.
In the next few minutes, a doctor will walk through those doors and give him the Swipe, and he’ll be sent up into the Maze Trials. His appearance will act as another variable – how the Gladers deal with the responsibility of a child, and how his eventual death will impact them.
He is destined to die, after all.

(pre-canon fic, starting from when chuck was first sent up into the maze, ending when thomas shows up. vaguely canon compliant (no promises tho))Series

Summary
The Greenie is a bit odd.
It’s not that Newt doesn’t like him – he does, quite a lot for someone he’s just met – he just seems a bit… off.
Then again, that could just be because he won’t stop asking questions every five shucking seconds.------------
(during the maze runner events, pretty much newt-centric. a lot of scenes from canon are not described or only shown briefly, because you all know the plot by now)Series
