Summary
"Hey, hey," Dean said, propping his feet up on a chair. "Dude, I don't even know your name."
Cas blinked up at him, and the tiny heat that the gravelly voice had sparked in Dean's stomach evolved into a full-on tingle.
"Oh, uh," he said. "Yeah. I'm Castiel. Cas, if you like."
"Cas," Dean drawled. "I do like." He stuck out his hand. Cas raised an eyebrow, but he reached out to shake. "I'm Dean Winchester."
"I'm aware," Cas said dryly. "You've something of a reputation."
"I'm aware," Dean agreed with a bright grin.

Summary
"Um. The perfect tenses refer to action already completed, using the present tense of the verb to have. So the present perfect is used to refer to actions completed in the past. 'I have traveled to Europe.'"
"Big shock, prep school boy," Dean said, but his tone was teasing. "Okay, but -- the present perfect is used for stuff in the past?"
"Or that remain true in the present. I have known you for an hour."
"Biblically," Dean added with a smirk, and Cas blushed.

Summary
Dean sighed. "Fine. That's all the actual homework I got, but tomorrow we're startin' active and passive verbs. Not gonna lie, only thing I know about passive verbs is you ain't ever supposed to use 'em."
Cas groaned, running his hand through his hair. "The archaic notion that the passive voice should be avoided at all costs has resulted in the most needlessly convoluted sentences in the English language," he grumbled.
Dean grinned at him. "God, so sexy when you talk nerdy to me, professor-boy," he teased, and Cas flushed, ducking his head. "Ooh, there's my blushing virgin."
"And he's going to stay that way if you don't shut up," Cas returned.

Summary
"Least I haven't totally forgotten everythin' yet," Dean muttered, and Cas stuck his tongue out again. "Hey now, keep that tongue in your mouth unless you intend t'use it."
"Oh, I intend to use it," Cas said matter-of-factly, returning his attention to his notebook, but he caught the slight intake of breath, and a smile quirked at his mouth.
"Thought this was supposed to be tutoring, not torturing," Dean grumbled.
"Don't be dramatic," Cas chided, but he leaned over and pulled Dean into a brief kiss, chaste but tender, and somewhere in the back of his mind he marveled at how easy it felt to do that.
Dean let out a displeased whine when he pulled away, and Cas waved his notebook pointedly.
"The sooner we get done with this, the sooner we'll --"
"Be fucking?" Dean supplied hopefully, and Cas groaned.
"I thought you were going to take me to dinner," Cas reminded him. "You know, make an honest man out of me."

Summary
Cas sighed. “You aren’t an asshole. I was mad,” he admitted. “And still am, a little bit. But I understand, it’s not your fault.” He paused. “Well, calling your teacher a shithead was kind of your fault.”
Dean pushed Cas up against the table, a wicked grin on his face. “You wanna punish me?” he asked, biting at Cas’ earlobe, and Cas’ hips jerked against his. “Teach me not to run my mouth like that?”
“You clearly need some discipline,” Cas murmured. “And you’ve missed out on our lesson.”
“Mostly review. Test on Monday.” Dean drew his lips along Cas’ jaw. “Maybe you should quiz me. Make sure I understand this shit?”
Cas sucked in a breath. "You're impossible."
Dean grinned at him. "My place, then?"
Cas scowled briefly, then exhaled, a smile quirking at his mouth. "Fine. But you owe me dinner."
