Summary
"Promise you won't get mad," Tubbo mumbles.
Tommy rolls his eyes. "Tubbo, you just used a nuclear weapon to break me out of a maximum security prison and save me from my abuser. What could I possibly get mad at you for."
Tubbo takes a breath, and doesn't turn around to look at Tommy while he talks, voice still small.
"You know how I make impulsive decisions when I'm stressed out?"
"Yeah..." Tommy drawls, apprehensive.
"I- well, I think... I think I... Married... Ranboo?"
Tommy short circuits.
What?

Summary
"Hey, Ranboo?" Tubbo asks, breaking him from his thoughts.
"Hm?"
"What kind of cake do you think we'll want?"
"I- Sorry, what?"
"What kind of cake are you thinking? I like ice cream cake quite a lot, but I don't know if that's-"
"Cake... For what?"
Tubbo's expression softens, and he pulls his legs up onto the counter to sit criss cross, still not quite eye level with Ranboo. "For our wedding, big man."
-
Or: After several months of relative peace on the Dream SMP, Tubbo and Ranboo finally feel secure enough to plan a real, proper wedding. It turns out that wedding planning may be a bit harder than they thought.

Summary
Michael_Beloved is very good at making valentines.
It isn't that Ranboo had thought he wouldn't be. On the contrary, actually - Ranboo's son has always been bright and creative, burning through boxes of crayons and bushels of paper almost faster than his parents could provide them.
But as Michael carefully outlines his heart-shaped paper, going slowly to ensure he doesn't make any mistakes, Ranboo still finds himself getting awestruck.
-

Summary
"What are you supposed to be?" Asks Ranboo, and Wilbur pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose with a chuckle.
"I thought the scariest costume of all would be to just go as myself. You know, Ranboo, often times people are the real monsters. Sometimes looking in the mirror is just as horrific as any-"
"Boo!" Michael squeals from right behind Wilbur, who must jump at least a foot into the air.
"Jesus fucking christ!" Wilbur shrieks, and the group bursts into laughter around him.

Summary
"That's divorce fifty-two, then, under our belt with the rest of them."
"And in record time, too," Ranboo praises as he pockets Tubbo's ring. "Think we could hit sixty by the end of the month?"
"Surely we could, Ranboo, surely. I mean, we're pretty dysfunctional, I'd say."
"Are we?" Ranboo laughs. "You and I are toxic, huh?"
"We're merely wrong for each other, Ranboo. I mean, we're just plain wrong."
-
Ranboo and Tubbo get a divorce. Then, they propose again. And then they get another divorce. It's something of a game to them, at this point.

Summary
"Happy Bird Day!" Michael tells him, still not having gotten the hang of the tradition. He throws his arms around Tubbo and squeezes tight. "A whole 'nother year!"
"Yeah, I guess I did make it another year," Tubbo muses.
It doesn't seem like it. It seems like only last week he was freshly sixteen and joining an army, like only yesterday he was a seventeen year old president.
He looks over to Tommy, and meets his eyes. The same Tommy from years ago, really, just with a few more scars and a couple of new quirks. He's still got the same smile, though, and his eyes are once again the same old blue.
"You look old, king," Tommy tells him. "Like an old man."

Summary
Michael is on his fifth bedtime story of the night.
Don't get Tubbo wrong, it's nice that Michael reads. Really nice. He and Ranboo are both thrilled over how curious Michael is, how much he loves learning about the world - it makes him proud to see his kid begging to be read to.
But, admittedly... Five stories is a bit much.
-
Michael runs out of bedtime stories, so his dads make up some new ones.
