Description:

Earth One, a three-ringed domed-over world-pond of conspiracies and deception, a wall of ice holding its central population captive.  Newspapers talk of war and earthquakes, but the wars are staged and the earthquakes produced artificially.  The stories told here depict highlights of events over the centuries, sometimes stretching back millennia in their origins.

Technically not the Earth of Wilson's “Illuminatus!” books, but certainly inspired by them (heavily fanning on the conspiracy theory videos of YouTube).  Further installments might come along, but this series is essentially complete in the picture that it gives.

NB:  If you're wondering how to make a series on AO3, please see my tutorial “How to make and fix a series on AO3  ” (in a series with another tutorial on CSS work skins for fonts, font colors, highlighting, etc.).

Notes:

PROBLEM OF MISSING “Next Work →” links:  Original URL was https://archiveofourown.org/series/1778659 and changed to https://archiveofourown.org/series/2227173 due to “Next Work →” link no longer appearing after having added 4 or 5 works.  In attempt to fix that (after searches to do so, some failed workarounds), I deleted the series and created it anew, only to find the same issue arise.

SOLUTION TO FIX MISSING “Next Work →” links:  click any affected story's “Edit” button, don't even bother editing anything, just scroll down and hit “Post”, and the “Next Work →” link should now display in the data block where it belongs.

Added a story to the series, but of course it suffered the usual series glitch.  Re-ordered to no effect; even deleted the series and recreated it, but still the problem persists: No “Next Work →” links.

For more info, please see “Known Issues” (Updated 2021-01-05 20:12:46 +0000), “Editing Work Data” section, “Series order not updated” bullet: When the order of the works in a series is changed, this change is not properly reflected in either the work blurb or the summary at the top of the work. Clicking on the series title will show the series in its proper order, but the works will be labeled with the wrong part numbers. The series information at the bottom of the work text is updated correctly. This problem does not seem to resolve itself with time, but it's been reported to our coders to work on a fix.
