And the continued denial just tears Hajime up, because he grabs a pin from the empty cork board on Komaeda’s wall and presses the tip against his wrist until a perfect drop of blood has bubbled up to rest on his skin.
Komaeda’s eyes dilate instantly.
“Smells good, right?”
“Yes.” Komaeda’s mouth has fallen open and Hajime can’t believe he’s never noticed the fangs before.
