Summary
During the Time War, soldiers who were negatively affected by their memories of battlefields or who developed guilt over necessary actions would often be recommended for a psychic surgical procedure to remove unuseful memories of these events. Unfortunately there's only one person the Doctor is comfortable with doing this procedure for her anymore.

Summary
He’s a damned fool, he thinks, taking another sip. He should have destroyed O’s phone ages ago, never let the Doctor have a chance to contact him. The phone is in a toilet now, in a building he blew up, so at least he can’t make that mistake again. He can’t remember why he picked up the phone anyways. He must have tossed it on his TARDIS’s console at some point and when it rang he picked it up out of surprise, maybe? Instinct? Because in his hearts he knew there was only one person who would ever ring that number?
The Master is incapable of having a single night to himself.
