  Summary

  Cooper was a good Templar. She was trained to be the Best. The best fighter, the best leader, and the best at dying for the country she was left in, but her story doesn't stop because her life has.

  Lieutenant Cooper is a Templar of Omera, goddess of Death, but there's no way in hell she'd ever stay that way. All she wants in life is to settle down with her fianceé miles away from the Temple she was forced to serve since she was a child.
  Being a vampire is not what it's cracked up to be, not that Cooper knows what the word really means yet. She must live with the consequences of her dark and bloody actions even as the body count steadily grows.
  Cooper meets a stranger that knows a little too much about what she is, she has no choice but to keep her close in case she finally divulges important information.
  When The Darkblade is found, they can finally return home to their country of Mabristan, if Cooper can hold back her bloodlust.

  NOTE: This is the largely unedited first draft. I am actively working on a better, remixed draft but I'm keeping this up as something to look back on.
