Summary

Addie grew up in a military family who didn't have the best home life. Her mother died before she was 12, Her father took his pain out on her since her brothers went to fight for their country.
Doing anything she can to not go home, Addie found a light in the darkness. His name was Hank Voight, and he became her father figure.
Years later, Addie join the army rangers, met her best friends, Jay and Mouse. But after a tour went south, she quit and joined the intelligence unit back home in Chicago.
Now with Jay as a partner, will Addie learn to trust the unit as they become her new family?
