Frankly Tommy has had enough of the ravine. It’s cold, it’s dark, the staple food is potatoes, and his brother is ignoring him.
He doesn’t have much hope for today, as he leaves Wilbur food at the door again, until he’s beckoned in.

‘This is my sunrise!’ Wilbur says, softly this time. He is standing on the edge of the glass covered hole that was his L’manburg as the night gives away to day. But he’s not looking at the sun which masterfully paints the canvas of the sky with brilliant strokes in reds and golds. No, Wilbur’s eyes stray over to the person still with him. How could he have forgotten how colourful Tommy was? Yellows and reds and blues, the colours of L’manburg’s flag.
