Summary
12th Century Camelot AU, Forbidden Romance.
Jim doesn't remember much about his childhood, but he knows that he used to be human, that his name is Jim, and that the people who turned him into this monster were not his friends. He remembers the experiments, waking up in a body not of his own, and escaping. He remembers finding a father in a troll named Blinky, and a safe haven in Dwoza Trollmarket, even if he received stink-eyes from its inhabitants.
Seven years later, Jim and Blinky have a plan to break into King Arthur's castle and save Callista, a troll Jim considers a sister, from her life in Camelot's dungeon. With the hopes of the plan going off perfectly, Jim scales the castle. Though, of course, something goes wrong. Jim, from the moment he enters the castle, is spotted by a burnt sienna beauty who happens to be the handmaiden of Morgana Le Fay. Her name is Claire Casperan, and she also just happens to be the very girl that would change Jim's life.
