Summary
Wilbur sighed, running a hand through his dark-brown hair.
It was him, Tommy, Phil, and Scott on a team. MCC 8 Red Rabbits all over again.
He looked in the direction of the Hall of Fame, seeing a glimpse of Techno's head on the walls, and his eyes almost immediately stung with tears.
When would he be home?

Summary
Quig was running. He didn't dare look back, he just kept going. His breaths came out in short and shallow gasps, as he sprinted away from the building the Orange Ocelots were currently occupying.
He only caught a glimpse of his teammates, but that one quick look stuck in his head, forever.
The iron blade that stuck through HBomb's chest, his body sat up, lifeless, against one of the walls, blood spilling from his deep wound. His once bright-blue eyes no longer holding any shine.
Vikk, who screamed at him to run, who broke a window in order for him to escape. And Quig did, but Vikk...wasn't so lucky. Quig could only hear a blood-curdling scream from the man who had helped him, before...nothing. Nothing at all.
He knew he was following him. God forbid he dies by the hands of that certain, fucking slime.

Pete just gets possessed by the final minigame, maybe they should've picked Bingo instead of Survival Games...

Summary
“Are you not gonna put me on the signup sheet anymore, Gri?” Pete asked, sitting next to his teammate on the stage.
“What? You don’t want me to?”
“Well, I mean…” he paused, trying to think of the right words to say, “You've won your first MCC; Scott might think you're good enough to…to…”
He didn’t have to finish his sentence for Grian to know what he meant.
"Oh, I won't curse you with me anymore, Pete," Grian laughed, jokingly, yet the slime-hybrid looked at him, surprised.
“What do you mean? Look where we are..!” he gestured around them, and Grian looked, seeing the Hall of Fame, the stars lighting up the sky, some of the participants laughing and chatting with one another,
and finally, the both of them, the golden crowns atop of their heads.
“I know, it’s…”
Grian took in a breath,
“it’s hard to let go, isn't it?”

Summary
Dark-feathered wings pulled the taller Brit closer, as Wilbur murmured; “Do you think he’d be proud of me?”
The blonde avian-hybrid smiled softly in response, albeit a bit melancholy, it was no more than peaceful. “I’m sure he would be, Wilbur.”
Grian’s wings drooped a bit, yet he felt a wistful smile start to tug at his lips, as he sat down next to the brunette. The three of them didn’t exchange words, they only observed the stars, although clouds were starting to block their view. They started to recall their memories with their old friend, a couple of them more than the other.
Yet Pete’s gaze was fixated on the shrine near the Hall of Fame, and he felt a strange aura coming from the memorial. It was somber, yes, but also warm. Comforting. And he couldn’t help but walk towards it.

Summary
They stopped. They had gotten closer to the exit, but Grian noticed how off Pete's demeanor was. Perhaps it was because they weren't doing so well overall, and their team placement kept dropping by each round of Meltdown they played. But Pete wasn't that type of person to give up so easily, this was unlike him.
The nail in the coffin was when the taller had collapsed into him, his body somehow growing lighter in weight, which set off alarms in Grian's brain. Cleo reeled back a bit in alarm, Gem trying to help Grian support Pete enough for him to stand.
"Pete!" The deer-hybrid caught him, trying her best to maneuver him to a resting position on the ground. "Oh, Gods- are you okay? Does something hurt? Are-"
"Burning..." He muttered, voice so quiet and so slurred Grian almost didn't understand what he had said. But Gem apparently didn't hear it.
"W-What? What did you-...oh."
