Summary
"Akutagawa was like a loyal dog, always waiting for him to show even a slightest hint of approval. And he absolutely loathed that, because it was his own doing. He had made Akutagawa like that, molded and manipulated and then left him like a stray cat into a trashcan."
Atsushi dies tragically on a mission, and Dazai is left with Akutagawa, accompanied with overbearing guilt and anger.

Summary
It escaped Akutagawa how the blonde man could be angry about something that had happened years and years ago. They had been in rivaling organisations back then, Kunikida had probably vaguely knew of his existence but nothing else. And now the man was angry for him, in his behalf, even though he was with no doubt aware of what the raven-haired man had done to Kyouka. It was something he simply couldn't understand. Yet there Kunikida was, eyes not faltering, as firm and quiet anger twisted his expression, intertwining with always present worry.
The brunette head was tilted against the gray headstone, and he looked like he was sleeping peacefully. Slight ocean wind threw around strands of his fluffy hair, and for a moment Kunikida could have almost believed that he was just passed out from pure exhaustion.
After Atsushi's death, Akutagawa Ryuunosuke joins the Armed Detective Agency. Akutagawa has difficulties with adjusting to work in the Agency. Kunikida has difficulties with accepting both the death of the tiger boy and Dazai's past abuse towards his former protege.

Summary
Dazai didn't answer, his unsettling stare at Kunikida unfaltering. Kunikida lifted his hand to take a proper look, but Dazai grabbed his wrist with thin, pale fingers. It was enough for Kunikida to get the message.
He sighed, and proceeded to clean the apartment instead. He poured water down the kitchen drain, opened the windows and curtains to let light and fresh air into the apartment. He picked up the bottles to put them in a recycling bin later and stuffed bloodied bandages to the trash can. He washed the chopsticks laid in the kitchen sink and rinsed the tins, the only indication that Dazai had been eating anything in the past days.
Dazai doesn't show up to work and Kunikida proceeds to check on him. It turns to be more meaningful than either of them could have anticipated.
