This series starts following the plot as it happens in canon, but veers off canon starting at the end of Episode 8 - Dead Air. Ravi and Liv's relationship has such a strong foundation of the love, friendship, respect, trust, and understanding and I think Ravi and Liv would have been a much better, healthier couple than the people who they actually ended up with in canon.

While I thought Seasons 1 and 2 of iZombie were especially good, 1) some storylines would have changed if Ravi and Liv had gotten together romantically; and 2) there were always a few little things that the show didn't go into but I would have loved to see explored. This story explores the story of iZombie as it could have been if Ravi and Liv had pursued a relationship with each other. It's plot heavy but has plenty of romance and some eventual smut in the story as well.
