Summary
A complete, mostly cannon, retelling of Avatar the last airbender, with the addition of an original character, Kei, Iroh's ward and tea apprentice. Kei was an earth kingdom orphan when the dragon of the west came to occupy her town outside of Ba Sing Se. When Kei accidently discovers she's a firebender her village turns their back on her and she's brought to Iroh. A kinder man then she was expecting he soon becomes the only person she can rely on. He helps her hone her rare abilities and tries to help her understand her dreams that hold secrets of her past. Kei travels alongside him and Zuko on his quest to find the Avatar. When the Avatar is revealed to be alive Kei knows she must do whatever it takes to keep Zuko and the rest of the fire nation from capturing him.
