Her steps are silent as she walks down the corridor, making sure she didn’t spill any of the drinks. She took a deep breath as she knocked on Daisy’s door, listening for the telltale rustle of the girl behind the door. Jemma steps back as the door opens and Daisy looks at her with tired, sad eyes and shaking hands. Jemma’s smile drops slightly as she extends the hot chocolate; a peace offering.
Daisy looks at her for a moment before a smile creeps it’s way across her face and she takes the mug, inviting Jemma in silently.
