“Hi, Mister Murdock! I’m Peter Parker, and I kind of stopped being a person, a few months ago, and you helped me once and I was hoping you could help me find out if I still have a social security number? No, that’s worse.”
“Hi, I’m Peter Parker. You don’t remember me, but you helped me once, and I know you help people who are in… weird situations. There was a wizard involved. I don’t know if I’m legally a citizen anymore, and… no, that doesn’t… heck.”

Summary
MJ doesn’t think anything of it when Peter Parker introduces himself with his full name and stutters his way through the purchase and small talk. He’s distracted by something, polite and awkward and uncomfortable, but trying anyway. She only remembers him because he bounces off her sense of humor, and because of his full-name introduction. Ned jokes about how she has an admirer, after, but she thinks the guy was just an anxious mess.
She doesn’t think of him very much. He stops by the donut shop once or twice a week. He smiles, and stutters, and asks her how MIT prep is going. He always seems depressed as hell.
“How about you?” she asks, once, when Parker’s having trouble digging out some exact change from his wallet. “You’re about my age, right? Are you still in school or did you already graduate?”
He freezes. He doesn’t meet her eyes, just starts digging out the last penny from the awkward pocket it’s in. “I, um, my aunt died a month ago. I was a high school senior, and I’d applied to a few schools, but… I couldn’t afford rent without dropping out, so even if I could make tuition, it’s… yeah. Not in the cards right now.”

Summary
Ned doesn’t initially pay much attention to Peter Parker. The guy is just one of Michelle’s customers. He’s about their age, and seems to be in a shitty enough life situation that it’s notable, but he’s just some guy. The only reason Ned really notices the dude is that he probably has a crush on Michelle, and it’s kind of Ned’s job, as her best friend, to scope the guy out a bit.
Unfortunately, Peter Parker apparently has no internet presence. There isn’t even an out-of-date Facebook account or anything. Parker just… doesn’t seem to exist.
It might be a fake name.
It probably is.

Summary
Johnny spends a lot of time hanging around the Baxter Building. His friend count is… low, to put it bluntly, so he’s there when Jessica’s lawyer—Murdock—and Luke’s—Nelson—come by. They have a teenager with them, maybe a year older than Johnny himself, who mostly takes notes and hands things to people. Sometimes he whispers to Murdock about something Reed’s guys are doing, probably because of the whole blind thing. At one point, for reasons that probably have something to do with lawyer privacy stuff, the teenager has to leave the room, along with one of Reed’s assistants, and the Baxter paralegals.
Johnny’s bored. Sue him.
“You want a soda?”
