Millicent spent the time between visits to London for orders and events trying to exhaust herself. She’d spend days thinking about the combination of botanicals that would get her closest to the feeling of having something rare and fae and wonderful cross your lips, only to flit away. She’d remind herself that the distillery was on a cycling route, and if someone cycled in it was ridiculous to think they would stay for more than a night. Of course they would go. Even if—Anyway, Uist certainly wasn’t a place where Londoners lingered.
