Edward took a deep breath before leaning in to assess the damage further, nervously flexing his hand as he took it in. Oswald’s eye was almost completely swollen shut, the small amount of sclera that was visible was more red than white. The red glasses that the Penguin had been wearing prior to the battle were now partially embedded in his face. Edward swallowed as he remembered back to earlier in the day. The way he’d silently admired the way the glasses had perched on the end of Oswald's nose, how they drew attention to his perfectly composed face and contrasted with the colour of his eyes…where was he? Right. Oswald’s eye.

“What do you want?” It took a lot of effort to keep his voice steady. He was very much not in the mood to argue with the Other.
“What I want,” The Other made his way over to perch on the corner of Edward’s desk. “Is for you to stop fooling around and do something.”
“I’m not ‘fooling around.’” Ed ground out. This was giving him a headache.
“Oh, sure” the way the last syllable was drawn out was irritating, to say the least. “The reason you’ve been neglecting to tell Oswald how you feel about him must be perfectly logical, then.”

Summary
Oswald glanced over to the clock mounted on the wall. Quarter past five. Edward usually got home at around ten past six. It was time to put his plan into action. Oswald couldn’t cook to save his life, but he was a very determined individual. He was semi-certain that he could make something edible, besides, if all else failed, they could always order a Chinese, though that might be slightly underwhelming for Valentine’s day, he supposed. Edward deserved nothing but the best and if he burnt the entire apartment building down to make it then so be it.

Summary
Planning a museum heist was not normally how Edward spent his weekends, but he was always open to trying new things. Especially with his boyfriend.
Oswald had insisted on helping, having had more experience with pulling off robberies than his partner, though he was still markedly unsure about the whole thing. He didn’t like how much of a risk it posed to Ed but the man had seemed so genuinely enthusiastic about it that he agreed to go along with it (That, and the fact he knew none of his brainless henchmen would be able to pull off the robbery without a step-by-step guide and even then, he had his doubts.). The only other thing they could really do would be to either kill or frame Jim and Oswald wasn’t particularly a big fan of either of those two options. Who was he supposed to delight in irritating if Jim was out of the picture fully? Deep down, he knew he still felt as if he owed Jim for sparing his life, even if he probably shouldn’t. Ah well, he could address that problem at a later date. Right now, he needed to focus on assisting Ed in his bid to orchestrate an art theft.
