Summary
Seventeen years. Numerous funerals and ridiculous amounts of careers. Two couches. Multiple certifications and a psychology degree. Three cats, two apartments and (eventually) one adopted son that puts him on his ass because he'd forgotten the homeless kid rules because he's gotten soft with Mic over the years.

"I don't want to be a cat dad," Yamada grumbles but is already pulling the little thing into his long hands. "You need to stop bringing these babies home," he mutters in a sour tone he has never once used when the sun is up-- but now he's lowering himself into his rolling chair with a tender little sigh and pulling the bottom of his shirt up to wrap around the kitten. "Look at his feet, oh no, his little toes, he's perfect." Each word climbs higher in excitement, and Aizawa knows he has him.
"Actually it's a mutation more common in--"
"Shouta, please, look at his toes!"
He says it like Aizawa isn't the one that just introduced him to the kitten with the toes.

Summary
A week later, Shouto finally realizes that the girl is so different that it makes her dangerous.
Because now Midoriya Kikumi is flying at her like a committed living missile, green eyes dark with determination and small body unstoppable.

Todoroki tries to adjust to her first year away from her father, but maybe (possibly?) she's starting to remember what it felt like to believe in Heroes. Midoriya is terrifying, at first in a bad way and then in a good way, but also that ponytail doesn't suit her at all.
