“Nice to see you’re in a good mood,” Cherry said, taking a sip of his own before looking at his glass in pleasant surprise. “Oh. This isn’t bad.”
Joe scoffed. “Not great either.”
“Oh you are in a mood,” Cherry said, sounding amused.

“Man,” Kojiro corrected awkwardly. “Can I, uh, help ya, man?”
“I’m doubting that more and more all the time,” the man said haughtily, a refined pink eyebrow raised over the rim of his glasses.
It was love at first sight. Or maybe second sight?
Hell, why not both.
Prompt: Joe is a grease covered sleeveless mechanic and Cherry's smart car breaks down outside his shop. Joe begins their conversation with "Can I help you there, ma'am?" Cherry just broke up with his fiancé Adam. How does Joe win him over and get a date?

“Reki?” Oka asked, frowning uncertainly. “You didn’t happen to leave your backpack here yesterday, did you?”
“Huh? No, why—eegh.” Reki scrunched up his face at the floral-pattern backpack in Oka’s hand. “Why do you think that would be mine?”
“I thought being an airhead, you might’ve had to borrow one from your sisters or something,” Oka explained. “And what is that face for? It’s cute.”
“Who was even in yesterday?” Langa asked, broom no longer sweeping as he stopped to think.
“What’s in it? Did you look? Is there a wallet or ID or something maybe?” Reki suggested.
Oka laughed awkwardly. “Well, that’s the thing…”
Prompt: One of the boys is a closet otaku and outed after their backpack of manga is left behind. Who is it and what kind of manga is discovered? Who discovers it and where?

“Are mama and papa on a date?” Miya grinned mischievously.

“No!” Cherry and Joe answered simultaneously.“Anyway,” Joe said, “what are you two doing here?”

Summary
They would tell him to get over it, would brand it unhealthy, if they knew the truth. That he still heard Tadashi’s gentle, steady voice whispering in his ear in the morning, Wake up, Ainosuke-sama, and he’d wake with a soft smile only to realize and be devastated all over again. How many times had Ainosuke leaned to mutter something out of the corner of his mouth, some wry remark or off-hand comment, and realized nearly too-late that the person next to him was his new secretary and not Tadashi at all.
No one would understand how he’d fall into contemplation in the back seat of the car, jolted back by a whiff of Tadashi’s subtle cologne, and snap his eyes hopefully to the rear view mirror—
Where his new driver just kept his eyes straight ahead.
Sometimes he wondered if he was going insane. Sometimes he hoped so. That insanity would somehow make the pain more bearable.

“Because it’s a full moon, okay!” Kojiro snapped, pained.
Kaoru frowned, obviously thinking. “And…that has anything to do with anything how? What, you a werewolf or something?” he teased.
Kojiro hesitated. “Vampire.”
Prompt: Love at first bite. Joe is a vampire and he's tired of keeping it a secret.

“Don’t rush me,” Kaoru snapped. “I’m trying to decide.”
“What’s there to decide?” Kojiro pressed, looking back up at the menu. “It’s the same as last time and the time before and the fifty million times before that—”
“It’s hardly been fifty million.”
“Fine, but fifty isn’t probably far off,” Kojiro countered. “My point is, you know what you want before we even get through the door. So what is there to decide?”
Prompt: Joe & Cherry are walking at night in Okinawa and they stop to get something sweet at Blue Seal. What do they get and what do they say as they walk and eat?

As the meeting got underway and he stewed in his own gloom, Ainosuke churned over why he was late in the first place.
Tadashi.
Not Tadashi’s fault directly—or maybe it was? It would certainly be easier to think that than to admit no, it was yelling at Tadashi that made him late. Not that he’d outright yelled; it wouldn’t do to cause a scene or get red in the face or anything like that.
But he might’ve thrown some especially scathing verbal barbs then immediately shut Tadashi down when he tried to defend himself.
Alright, it was proportionately significantly more his fault than it was Tadashi’s, made worse by the fact that he basically threw a fit in the car, making him even later.
Oh.
He was still throwing a fit, now that he thought about it.
Prompt: Adam arriving to a board meeting late. And he is in a mood.
