They aren't good people, either of them. After all, they're mercenaries, and they're hired to fight to the death over a useless piece of land in the middle of nowhere. Sniper likes to think that he was a good man, once. He holds no illusions of it now.

Summary
"He wishes he'd seen the paintings of Ganymede when he was younger, because this too, is art he can understand.
"He'd thought, back then, that there wasn't a single person in the world who was like him. He'd thought he was a freak, and to be honest, maybe he still thought that. But now, he and Medic were freaks together, and maybe that was enough."
(Or, Medic and Scout have a safe BDSM relationship with lots of art themes while Scout gets over his internalized homophobia. That's it. That's the fic.)

Summary
Scout wakes up on his twenty-fifth birthday, and he can tell something's wrong. He's shivering and burning up at the same time, and his skin prickles; too hot, too sensitive, too much.
Something in the deepest part of him is hungry, and hollow, and wanting.
(Or, Scout is a half-incubus. Someone neglected to tell his mother that was a possibility.)

Summary
Engineer was a good man. Not one for conversation, but he was nice when he wasn't so focused on the newest science project.
He'd just walked off the base one day and disappeared, never to be seen again.
Scout had been the last one to see him.
He thinks about watching Engineer hop the fence and walk off into the badlands, and does not think about Maynard Conagher's hands on his hips as he's maneuvered around the kitchen, heavy fingers pressing on old bruises, hidden by his clothes, hidden by a friendly gesture. Scout nearly whines when he takes the first sip of tea, and the hand on his neck tightens, like a noose.
