Summary
It’s always impossible to see beyond the blinding lights from the stage, so Xiao Zhan has started to imagine his own crowd full of elegant, beautiful people. They hang on his every word as he sings for them, working his way through an eclectic mix that works in the classics as well as more modern, soulful songs. Stefanie Sun is waiting off to one side, maybe Oh Sehun is sitting over in the corner, nursing some soju and waiting to ask for his number after Xiao Zhan finishes performing.

Summary
The extravagant flowers are just the beginning of Xiao Zhan’s surreal day. Deciding he might as well take the time to get some extra rehearsing in, Xiao Zhan jogs down the stairs on his way to the subway, but immediately stops short when he reaches the bottom. The elegant black car from last night is parked just outside, waiting.

Summary
Waking up to the colorful sounds of the restaurant owner cursing at someone passed out in the alleyway, Xiao Zhan groans as he throws his hands over his face. Dammit. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it won’t be the last.
Xiao Zhan can’t wait until he lives somewhere better. Quieter. A view better than dumpsters and passed out drunks would be nice as well, if he’s imagining things that won’t happen anytime soon.

Summary
Xiao Zhan has not gotten any more invitations to hang out with the other members of the band since he started being seen with Wang Yibo, and he wonders if he should try to change that or if it’s easier this way. It’s nice to be liked, but when he imagines the future, it is only his name shining in big lights above a marquee.

Summary
“When?” Xiao Zhan demands, but Wang Yibo avoids providing many details neatly, just smirking at him in a way that Xiao Zhan is growing increasingly familiar with.
“I was in Chongqing before,” he says matter-of-factly as his fingers drum where they rest on Xiao Zhan’s waist, a zing of electricity shooting through him at Yibo’s easy touch. “It was a few months ago. I saw you from a distance, but you were all I could see.”
