Summary
Penny gasped out a shaky breath. She ignored the tears smearing in the fabric, the dialing sound, and the voice. Her heart was at war in her chest. This girl’s couldn’t be like that anymore.
“Penny, what’s wrong—what happened? Pen?”
There’s a girl dead in her arms and Penny tried to save her. The scene was too familiar.
She jerked her head up, and for a short a second as thin as a piece of hair, Penny saw someone. The shape of someone watching from the street only feet away. They look at her, she blinked, and they were gone.
“Hey!”
Penny was on patrol when she found a girl breathing her last breaths on the beach. Not only that, but she saw the perpetrator...She's just got to find them and prove that they killed her.

Summary
After giving him plain-Jane answers that she was okay, his A.I. just tells him there’s a severe thunderstorm warning, and he continues tinkering away at the iron suit. As if the thunder and heaviness of the rain weren’t enough, Tony finally turns on some music. It would help keep his mind occupied with something other than Penny’s mental health, or how Pepper was doing in Japan, or the fact the Avengers were broken.
The music sharply plummeted and stopped. “Boss, Miss Parker is having a panic attack and is unresponsive.”
It took nothing else to get him out of the lab.
Penny hasn't been doing well, and Tony has some self-set boundaries to break.

“…It’s cold.”
Tony snapped his head to her as soon as she spoke. He almost laughed because, yeah, no shit, there was probably enough ice up there for five generations of penguins to roam free on the streets minus the seals and whales wanting to eat them.
It replays in his head. It didn’t have the tone of a quip or a complaint. “…Your heater’s still working, right?”
The look Penny gave him, big-eyed like a deer in the headlights, was going to haunt him like everything else did for the foreseeable future if not forever. She shook her head.
Tony didn't expect it to be this cold. He can't let his kid be this cold.
