The Hylian starts. Of all the possible speeches bound to flow from this monster’s mouth, that was not one Link could have predicted. He stares hard and unblinking into Ghirahim’s eyes, dark as flint and shrouded in mystery. Not a hair is out of place, not a twinkle of malice or mischief in sight.
When that black gaze meets his, Link is determined not to shy away. But by Hylia, does he flinch.
