Dave Strider disappeared a year ago. The ramifications of that rocked the entire, extensive social circle, but things have almost calmed down. Rose's witchery and detective-ing business is functioning, even if her life isn't. But when Dave comes back, the fragile balance everyone had achieved is thrown off. With someone he doesn't want to see on his tail and everyone's repressed trauma piling up, will they be able to have a life again?
