"Oh, so Quirks are what you call them..." Chiaki said, tilting her head. "There wasn't a word for it, where we're from. 'Ability', 'superpower', 'curse', 'blessing'.... a rare phenomenon that, before the Tragedy, no one was quite sure was real. It's nice to have a name, for it, I think."
"Quirks aren't common from where you're from?" A teacher asks suspiciously.
"No," Hajime answered. "It was only during the Tragedy that knowledge of them became so well known... That was part of how Junko caused it, after all—the chaos of suddenly being born with superpowers."
"Hm." The creature Chiaki can't quite identify says, adorably. "I believe these four are from the past." He declares, full confidence.
Just when things were recovering from the tragedy, four former members of class 77 are transported 200 years into the future.

"An... ability? Like the kind that's been showing up, recently? The superpowers, like that glowing baby, and, and... and the power Enoshima seemed to have...? I have something like that?"
"Correct." Izuru says, "Though, now that you are dead... I wonder what would happen if you turned your new found power off. I suspect you'll return to your body, and your consciousness will die along with it."
Chiaki paled, "What!? Th-Then I definitely can't turn it off!"
