Summary
It happened so fast. Tōga saw the streak of silver hair and a flash of golden eyes in the park near where he walked. A child who had dog ears and Inu features. But it wasn't until he saw that child run into the arms of his mother that Tōga knew.
Izayoi had gotten pregnant from their fateful night together three years ago, and hadn't told him. So at that moment, Tōga was staring at his own child. For Izayoi's part, she only thought to protect Inuyasha from the scrutiny of Tōga bitter divorce from Inukimi, and the intense scrutiny that would have come at her being the other woman and Inuyasha being born out of wedlock.
Now that the truth is out, can Tōga and Izayoi find each other again? And will Inuyasha get to meet his father?

Izayoi kneeled before the shrine. She knew that this shrine was dangerous, even understood why many called it the shrine of last resort, but she could not let her sister die this way. Midoriko had a family who was depending on her, and Izayoi, after all, was the youngest. So she asked for her sister’s life, and promised that she would give anything for it. When a silver haired god appears, he will grant her wish, but it comes with a price. One that at least someone thinks is a bit too steep.

The whale sounds were soothing, Izayoi claimed. And the yodeling? Well, everyone needed to understand parts of different cultures. When the “learn how to speak German” came on, at that point Tōga was definitely catching on. Because according to Mō-Mō Construction, coworkers weren’t allowed to date. Even if the coworker was a gorgeous perfect specimen of dog demon that certain red-blooded women had ever seen. And work trips were not for paying attention to said crush, or the suspicion that it was mutual. But Izayoi’s friend Kaede had some tricks up her sleeve, and their boss Tōtōsai had not paid nearly enough attention to the bed & breakfast reservations he made.

Izayoi's father's car breaks down. When he finds a mysterious manor, the host is generous enough to feed him and pay for his car's repair. As the father departs, he steals a single white chrysanthemum to give to his beloved daughter, invoking the wrath of his host: the Inu no Taisho, who is a giant dog. To pay for the theft, Izayoi and her father are brought to have dinner with their host. Izayoi stays with the Inu no Taisho as he promises to help her father regain his fortune. But when the seasons turn as readily as their luck, will Izayoi stay with her host or return to the shallow life she once lived?
