"A soft light filtered in from the large storefront windows, soft morning chatter and yawns filled the air in a nice hum, and a warm freeze flew in from the open door of the cafe. Sat at a small round table in the corner, two girls sat chatting and humming amongst a table full of notebooks, scraps of paper, a cup of tea, and multiple empty coffee cups.
'Ei, we're getting nowhere. Every song sounds just like the last, at this rate we're going to end up just like every other “punk” indie band on the streets. We've been here for hours, it's clear we aren't finding any inspiration here.' Clearly frustrated the girl brushed her short purple hair back and let out an exasperated sigh."
Known by many different names, there is one collective name everyone acknowledges. 8LECTRO. A popular girls' band that took the indie scene by storm. After a while, however, their music slowly died down to reruns of old songs.
So, 8LECTRO comes together to reinstall their popularity by signing up for and winning their city's biggest music festival of the year, rebranding themselves from one-hit wonders to a band popular enough to compete with the likes of DCKZ and 5Whirl.
