Summary
In hindsight, maybe Bradley shouldn’t have taken Jake to a reef break, given the fact that Jake was just learning how to surf. But how could Bradley pass up 3 to 4 foot waves, an extremely rare, empty Tourmaline, barely any wind, and balmy 76 degree fahrenheit water? The conditions were perfect for Jake — and he's been learning how to fall into the water. Most of all, Bradley trusted him to be okay.
But well, as much as Bradley wished he could avoid them — shitty wipeouts happened. They just happen.
