Summary
Thousands of years ago, humanity found itself at the mercy of strange and terrifying monsters. A war was waged in the shadows, a constant battle between these inhuman creatures and the few mortals who dared to stand against them.
Over a hundred years ago, the Treaty was signed, bringing an end to the eons of bloodshed. The inhumans formed their own Council, to govern and protect their people; the hunters created the Agency, an organization to shepherd humanity and enforce the Treaty, down to the letter of its law.
And thirty seconds ago, Caitlyn Kiramman saw a certain pink-haired vampire sneak down an empty alleyway with an unsuspecting woman in tow. Sure, being an Agency enforcer usually means little more than writing citations and regulating feeding, but Caitlyn has a hunch that this time is different…
