It's not like you died. You had a cellphone, you had a Doom account, you had time set aside to call. The formers Papas could've made a better effort to keep in contact when you moved to the college they pushed you to attend. Instead, they ditched you like an old sock, and you're not quite ready to forgive them for it. Resentment is hard when you work in such close proximity, though.
