Glancing up from the battered cage soaking in the sanctuary’s quarantine pool, Dick makes sure Bruce can see just how unamused he is. “I thought you took care of the bats.”
“Yes, well,” Bruce “The Bat Man” Thomas Wayne, Gotham’s favored son and Dick’s sort of brother-sort of guardian, rubs the back of his neck like he’s embarrassed.
