Summary
“Don’t you think that a ‘thank you, my prince’ would be fitting?”.
You honestly thought of just freeing yourself from his grip and run.
What bad could he do to you, when he had showcased mercy for you and pleaded your case to his brother, for no true reason?
And yet, you knew that playing with Aemond, it’d be like tiptoeing with fire.
“Thank you, my prince” you parroted, keeping your tone the same line of neutral that you had used for Aegon.
But his grip onto your wrist doesn’t get any way looser, and instead he pushes you forward till your chests both brush against each other with each breath, making it impossible for you not to look up at him.
“Thank you, my prince, Aemond” and as if you hadn’t understood the message, since you waited a bit to react, he added “… repeat it”.

Summary
‘If you are to marry off my own brother, you shall meet the woman he is the closest with’.
And you had expected him to drag you to a brothel or to present to you, Aemond’s concubine.
In that case, you would have reacted icily, since you wouldn’t have cared for such things.
If anything, you would be glad that Aemond would have bothered somebody else for his own physical needs, which you had no intention to satisfy in any way.
Also this would have explained how eager he had been to marry you no matter your obvious – constructed – distaste for him.
You hadn’t expected certainly to be introduced to Vhagar.
or the fives times that you were introduced to Aemond's family and instead of going 'wait they are all crazier than him', you went 'he is miserable, I like him'

Summary
“Good job, my beloved” he muttered holding back the laughter as you smiled so brightly at him that you might have as well blinded his sole eye “… now let’s hope that will help you sober up, but… let me do the talking and just answer shortly to my family, understood?”.
“You are so bossy, Aemond” you chastised him, but your head lulled lightly “… can we hold hands?”.
The request took him by surprise, because as physical as you two had started being with each other, holding hands would have requested far more than casual touch, but Aemond couldn’t exactly deny it to you when you looked on the verge of tears just by him not immediately answering your request.
“I do think that it’d be fitting, since you aren’t able to move a step forward without falling over yourself” he muttered lightly, faking annoyance, and gaining a pout from you, before linking your hands together “… and do remember what I have said, before. This dinner is important for mother…”.

Summary
“Enough, Aemond” you called out, interrupting everybody “… we shall take our leave, my queen, my princesses, and my princes. Pregnancy tires me, incredibly and the night are spent sleepless for my child is as restless as his father”.
Everybody would have believed it to be a good joke, hadn’t they seen the arrogant way that Aemond had acted just a moments before and once Alicent and Rhaenyra bid you a ‘goodnight’, you rushed out of the corridor, not even waiting for Aemond, who ran after you and caught up to you quickly.
“Does it hurt?” he fussed, making you just fasten your step “… don’t go so fast! You might trip and…!”.
“If I were you, I’d be more worried about being an incompetent father to our child than an eye-less one” you muttered with pure poison in your voice as you let the man catch up to you “… there’s war brewing in our horizon and you just put yourself into it!”.
